Gary Jackson - Head Coach Tel 0796 678 6789
Gary is our Head Coach with over 30 years of Judo coaching experience and is UKCC Level 2 qualified. He holds the grade of nidan and has been a lifelong Judoka. Gary is the former National Royal Navy / Royal Marines Coach, Devon County Coach and Dorset Coach of the Year. He is also a qualified referee and brings a wealth of knowledge in sports nutrution and sports psychology.
Kevin Bond - Level 2 Coach
Kevin started Judo at the age of 15 and has been a member of the Northern Ireland National Team currently holding the grade of sandan. He is a former Coach at The University of Ulster and Coleraine Leisure Centre Judo clubs. Kevin is UKCC Level 2 qualified and has completred a Judo Assist Adaptive Coaching course. He remains a competitive Judoka on the Masters circuit and is also a qualified competition recorder.
Rachel Huey - Level 1 Coach
Rachel first started Judo in November 2014 having previously been a competitve Badminton player. She has thrown her heart and soul into Judo and rapidly progressed through the grades achiveing 1st kyu in mid 2016 and is now striving to achieve the grade of shodan . Rachel is a UKCC Level 1 Coach and also our competition co-ordinator.

Pam is a judo mum and our Welfare Officer. She is a Healthcare Professional as well as a Judoka in the club.
Our Coaches all hold United Kingdom Coaching Certificates (UKCC). In addition to a Judo specific coaching program this means they have:
Full membership of the British Judo Association / Northern Ireland Judo Federation.
Completed an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS).
Completed a Safeguarding and Protecting Children in Sport Certificate 9SPC).
A First Aid Certificate.
